Application data was not centralized, there was no reliable backup strategy, and different team members maintained separate copies of the system without synchronization.

02 · The solution
One Source of Truth
A secure .NET platform on AWS with Power BI on top.
We rebuilt the system as a centralized ASP.NET web application backed by SQL Server, consolidating information from multiple existing sources into one shared platform.

In detail

Staff and management now work from the same real-time source of information, and management has visibility across the full product portfolio.
- 02
The platform is hosted on AWS. Infrastructure is managed through Terraform, with automated deployments using GitHub Actions and AWS CodeDeploy.
- 03
All documents are stored in Amazon S3 instead of being scattered across local drives, while configuration and secrets are managed centrally through AWS Systems Manager Parameter Store rather than plaintext configuration files.

Role-based access control ensures different users see only the information appropriate to their role. Secure authentication and audit tracking make important system activity traceable.

Security was treated as an architectural requirement: application access, sensitive information, credentials and configuration are managed through controlled, centralized mechanisms.
- 06
As the platform evolved, we extended it with label and QR-code ordering, compliance and certification workflows, and a partner self-service portal.

We also added large-scale audit-data reconciliation, allowing large files to be validated and mapped with results feeding Power BI reporting.
- 08
On top of the reporting layer we enabled Copilot in Power BI, so staff can ask questions about revenue, partners and submissions in plain language and generate report pages from the same governed data.
